VALORANT 2.05 Patch Notes

The VALORANT 2.05 Patch Notes were shared with the players, along with the post by Jeff Landa, VALORANT’s Assistant Communications Specialist. With the VALORANT update 2.05, the game’s developer team seems to have dispensed justice.

With this update, while the bugs in many parts of the game were fixed, several changes were made to the gameplay of Sova and Astra agents. The highlight of the update was the competition and social updates.

According to the VALORANT 2.05 Patch Notes article, now the tier points of players who escape from competitive matches will be reduced by a small amount. Also, a setting where you can turn the Part Tier on and off has been added.

On the social side, there are details that will affect the players more closely. While an AFK detection system was developed according to the field in the patch notes, the penalties for AFK behaviors were also updated. For example, players with communication restrictions will no longer be able to play ranked games.
